Abstract
With the huge information on the Web, Web mining is a new research paradigm which draws great attention from many communities. At present there is no concrete agreement about Web mining. It needs more discussion among the researchers in order to define what it is exactly it is. Meanwhile, the development of Web mining system will promote its research in turn. In this paper we present a preliminary discussion about Web mining, including the relationship between information mining and retrieval on the Web, he definition, the taxonomy and the function of Web mining. In addition, Web-TMS, a prototype of Web text mining system, was designed. HTML documents on the Web can be effectively mined using Web-TMS is a multi-agent system.

Abstract
Mobile ad hoc networking is emerging to be very important in the growth of wireless technology. This is anticipated to offer a range of flexible services to nomadic users by means of integrated homogeneous architecture. So there arises a need of proper routing protocol for better communication in Mobile ad hoc networks. One of the existing reliable protocols is Ad Hoc On-Demand Vector Routing (AODV) protocol which is a reactive routing protocol for ad hoc and mobile networks that maintains routes only between nodes that wants to communicate. There are various security issues in this protocol. In order to provide security for AODV protocol, Secure Ad Hoc On-Demand Vector Routing (SAODV) can be used. SAODV is an extension of the AODV routing protocol that can be used to shield the route discovery process by providing characteristics of security like integrity and authentication. For secure protocol, hash chains, digital signature etc., can be used in routing. This paper surveys on various

Abstract
Stronger integration of data mining and database has been identified as one of the most important directions in knowledge discovery and data mining. Database technology has contributed more than just data preparation for Knowledge discovery in huge databases, and there should always be ways to further explore new information from data processing. This paper discusses the possibility of using query from databases with existing DBMSs as a good source of information for forming hypotheses for Knowledge discovery in databases and to demonstrate its feasibility.
